The Yarn Coating project (Call for SMART FASHION & DESIGN line – Lombardy Region) managed the functionalization operations
from the finishing phase of the fabrics to the twisting phase of the threads and yarns.
The yarn covering intends to focus on the basic element that requires any fabric (addressed both to the comparison between fashion and to technical applications)
with the aim of drastically increasing the value through the application of functionalizing substances capable of conferring performance and aesthetic characteristics such as
anti-stain, hydro- and oil-repellence, anti-flame, etc. taking advantage of a different surface / volume ratio between the added substance, the same fabric used.
